Work Experience
Department - Maintenance 1. To carry out maintenance, modification, overhauling and department activities in accordance with standard operating procedures. 2. Carry out required daily mechanical maintenance work and routine preventative mechanical maintenance work according to set schedules. 3. Diagnose causes of mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment such as defective parts replacement, adjustment, alignment, oiling, greasing and take corrective measures in collaboration with mechanical engineers. 4. Read and understand technical manuals, mechanical diagrams and machinery drawings and apply the knowledge to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. 5. Monitor the physical condition of all machines in assigned lines and report non-conformances to mechanical engineer to facilitate effective maintenance. 6. Respond to mechanical failures and implement corrective actions in adherence with procedures and guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize normal functionality of equipment. 7. Supervise fabrication activities (welding, grinding and cutting) and machine upgrade. 8. Update the maintenance logbook, MTTR and MTBF reports and record details of work carried out including defaults, problems and conditions of all machines to ensure timely availability of information. 9. Check the necessary stock levels of spare parts to support effective inventory control. 10. Work closely with mechanical engineers and supervisors in maintenance activities. 11. Make safe working environment to the equipment and personal by following safe procedure and best practices.
