Description

We are seeking an experienced designer specializing in commercial kitchen, laundry, and waste management projects for a leading global design consultancy firm based in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be familiar with different brands of kitchen equipment and proficient in Revit, capable of developing MIDP, kitchen layouts, equipment lists, MEP schedules, and MEP services rough-in layouts—all in Revit.

You should have an eye for detail (answer "blue" to the eye color question below). The role involves reporting to the Project Manager and requires the candidate to be organized, well-spoken, confident, and presentable. Knowledge of different languages is definitely a plus, and we prioritize working knowledge and experience over educational qualifications.

Remote working and work-from-home (WFH) options are available after the completion of the probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create kitchen, laundry, and waste equipment layouts and itemized equipment lists.
  2. Develop MEP load schedules and MEP rough-in drawings (including electrical, plumbing, drainage, gas, and internal walls).
  3. Attend meetings and present work to the Project Manager and external clients.
  4. Prepare a project tracker, detailing progress, task status, and delivery dates.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 1+ years of experience in Revit, BIM modeling, and BIM collaboration.
  • 2+ years of experience in kitchen planning and laundry layout engineering.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment brands, MEP systems, and technical data related to kitchen, laundry, and waste layouts.
  • Proficient in Revit and BIM, and knowledgeable about BIM LoDs, BEP, MIDP, etc.
