Job Description: Estimator (Modular) - Civil Engineer - Immediate Joiners

Position Title: Estimator (Modular)
Salary: 6,000 – 7,000 AED per month
Number of Working Days: 6 working days per week
Visa Status: Preferably own visa
Division: DXB Live
Location: Dubai

Job Purpose:The Estimator (Modular) will support the cost estimation process for modular stands, exhibitions, and fit-out projects. This role involves reviewing subcontract and material quotations, preparing accurate cost estimates, assisting with commercial tenders, and liaising with the commercial and sales teams to ensure resource data is accurate for future tenders.

Key Responsibilities & Weightage:

• Assist in preparing subcontract and materials inquiries, and review subsequent quotations
• Assist in the preparation of subcontract and materials inquiries.
• Review and analyze incoming quotations.
• Build up an accurate cost estimate for the Exhibition works in an elemental and analytical format, aligned with our Policy
• Develop detailed cost estimates for exhibition works, breaking them down in an elemental and analytical format.
• Ensure estimates are aligned with our Policy.
• Assist in preparing an accurate cost estimate for the preliminaries and resources required to carry out the works in accordance with the confirmed signed contract
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for preliminaries and required resources based on the confirmed contract.
• Check resources accumulated in the cost estimate balance with those derived from the tender program
• Ensure resources accumulated in cost estimates align with those derived from the tender program.
• Assist in providing costing with commercial tender for submission to the Client for main contracting event and Confex (Conference and Exhibition)
• Support in providing cost estimates for commercial tenders for submission to the client for main contracting events and exhibitions.
• Liaise with the commercial team, account sales, and delivery teams to ensure output and resource data is collected, providing feedback for future tenders

• Develop in-depth knowledge of engineering techniques, construction processes, and their suitability for different applications and systems such as CPQ & ERP
• Gain a deep understanding of engineering techniques, construction processes, and their applicability to modular stands and exhibitions.
• Utilize CPQ & ERP systems effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders for contractor scope, exhibition stands, and other modular stand projects through a team
