Job Opportunity: Procurement (Contract Specialist) 
3-Month Contract (Extendable)

Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai (Government Company – Leading Metals Group)
Salary: AED 6,000 – AED 7,000 per month
Contract Type: 3 months (extendable based on performance)
Visa Status: Own visa candidates preferred

Key Responsibilities:1. Post-Award Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including vendor, client, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Ensure legal compliance and internal policy alignment.
  • Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Manage contract amendments, extensions, and terminations.

2. Sourcing, Contract Negotiation & Drafting

  • Lead negotiations for complex and high-value contracts.
  • Develop ITT (Invitation to Tender) documentation and execute sourcing strategies.
  • Expand the approved supplier base and eliminate single-source dependencies.
  • Ensure competitive pricing and market value alignment.

3. Contract Administration

  • Monitor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Track deliverables and milestones; address conflicts and disputes.
  • Maintain organized contract documentation and records.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Stay informed on laws and regulations relevant to contracts.
  • Apply risk mitigation strategies and ensure ethical practices.
  • Enforce compliance with legal and policy standards.

5. Cost Management

  • Monitor contract-related expenses and ensure budget control.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize contract value.

6. Communication & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with legal, procurement, and project teams.
  • Clearly communicate contract terms to stakeholders and teams.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare reports, summaries, and compliance records.
  • Analyze performance and suggest process improvements.

Scope & Financial Overview:

This role involves managing contracts across high-spend and complex procurement categories, including:

  • Raw Materials (AED 400M/year) – High spend, lower SKU/vendor complexity.
  • Packaging, Spare Parts & Maintenance (AED 100M/year) – Medium spend, high vendor complexity.
  • Consumables, Capital Assets & Site Services (AED 100M/year) – Medium spend, large ticket size, medium complexity/risk.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in industrial or government sectors.
  • Strong understanding of UAE contract laws and procurement regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with experience handling high-value, complex contracts.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
