Key Responsibilities

10% – Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for marketing and communications activities across the Exhibition Department and its portfolio. Support project and sales managers in pitching to corporate sponsors through creative campaigns and marketing tools.

10% – Manage the development and production of all marketing collateral in coordination with Project Managers for a range of regional and international exhibitions. Assist in enhancing exhibitions through database building, research, and the integration of additional offerings such as conference programs, gala dinners, and award ceremonies.

5% – Source, negotiate with, and oversee external vendors, including printers, designers, marketing and PR agencies, photographers, and media representatives. Contribute to the development of new show concepts and the exploration of emerging markets.

10% – Lead the execution of on-site exhibition marketing activities, including organizing press conferences, media days, and managing media centers.

5% – Manage and maintain marketing databases to support ongoing campaigns and outreach efforts.

10% – Research, develop, and implement dedicated data management procedures across the department to ensure consistency and accuracy.

20% – Ensure that all marketing collateral is of the highest professional quality and aligns with exhibition and corporate brand guidelines.

25% – Enforce brand identity standards by overseeing adherence from both internal departments and external partners.

5% – Perform additional duties as required, handling confidential information and sensitive issues with discretion and sound judgment.
Note: Allocation of weightage is based on the importance, time spent, and criticality of each responsibility, totaling 100%.
Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business.

A formal qualification in business or management studies is preferred.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, ideally within the exhibitions or event organizing industry.

Extensive exposure to marketing practices, tools, and industry standards.
Skills and Knowledge:

Strong understanding of business management and marketing strategy.

Excellent planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing platforms is an advantage.
