Position: Contract Specialist / Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage vendor, client, and subcontractor agreements. Ensure compliance, and oversee amendments, extensions, and terminations.
• Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead high-value contract negotiations, prepare ITT documentation, expand supplier base, and ensure competitive pricing.
• Administration: Track deliverables, monitor compliance, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate contract documentation.
• Compliance & Risk: Stay updated on UAE laws and procurement regulations, apply risk mitigation strategies, and enforce ethical standards.
• Cost Control: Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize contract value.
• Collaboration: Work closely with legal, procurement, and project teams; communicate terms clearly to stakeholders.
• Reporting: Prepare reports, summaries, and compliance records; analyze performance and recommend improvements.

Scope & Spend Overview

The role covers high-spend and complex procurement categories:

• Raw Materials – AED 400M/year (High spend, lower SKU/vendor complexity)
• Packaging, Spare Parts & Maintenance – AED 100M/year (Medium spend, high vendor complexity)
• Consumables, Capital Assets & Site Services – AED 100M/year (Medium spend, large ticket size, medium complexity/risk)

Requirements

• Proven experience in contract management/procurement, ideally within industrial or government sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE contract laws and procurement regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, with experience handling high-value, complex contracts.
• Immediate availability preferred.
