Job Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for providing a well-presented, efficient, and high-quality cleaning and locker room service to members and guests using the Golf and Recreation facilities. This role ensures a welcoming, clean, and organized environment while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Main Duties (Job-Related Responsibilities)

Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times, adhering to company dress standards (including name badge).

Ensure all assigned areas, including locker rooms, showers, and common spaces, are kept clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.

Maintain a sufficient stock of toiletries and submit requisitions in advance to avoid shortages.

Keep soap and shampoo dispensers filled and in good working condition.

Clean and dry floors, shower cubicles, and sink areas regularly, maintaining the highest hygiene standards.

Collect used towels promptly and ensure a constant supply of clean towels from the laundry.

Operate and monitor sauna and steam rooms, switching them on/off at appropriate times and reporting any issues to the Engineering Department immediately.

Manage daily-use lockers for non-members, ensuring proper paperwork is completed when required.

Be fully familiar with the Club’s lost and found procedures and encourage members and guests to secure valuables in lockers.

Display appropriate signage as required.

Provide shoe cleaning services when requested.

Coordinate with the Membership Secretary regarding locker usage and payments.

Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring proper usage and maintaining discretion and privacy for all guests.
Ancillary Duties
-
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support activities contributing to individual and organizational growth.

Represent the department in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, or Sports Committee.

Participate in special projects as required.

Be trained as a Fire Marshal or First Aider when needed.

Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of the client.

Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the client’s IT Department.

Report any information security breaches, weaknesses, incidents, or suspected breaches immediately to the IT Service Desk.
