Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the events and exhibitions sector, is seeking a highly skilled Live Streaming Operator & Hybrid Event Technical Expert to manage live streaming, hybrid event platforms, and on-site audiovisual technical operations.

The successful candidate will oversee technical preparations, live event execution, and post-event delivery for corporate, government, exhibition, and large-scale live productions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate end-to-end live streaming workflows.

• Set up hardware and software encoders and manage streaming protocols, including RTMP, SRT, and HLS.

• Operate streaming software such as OBS, vMix, Wirecast, and Restream.

• Monitor stream quality, bitrate, latency, packet loss, and redundancy.

• Manage simultaneous streaming across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Configure and manage hybrid event platforms, virtual sessions, breakout rooms, and audience engagement features.

• Integrate live streaming with event applications and registration systems.

• Install and configure cameras, video switchers, mixers, encoders, recorders, and networking equipment.

• Manage audio routing, microphones, mixers, and signal flow.

• Coordinate technical rehearsals and redundancy testing.

• Operate media server and show-control systems, including VMIX and similar software.

• Manage event recordings, backup storage, and post-event video deliverables.

• Coordinate with production managers, AV teams, IT teams, and event stakeholders.

• Prepare technical documentation, signal flow diagrams, and run-of-show requirements.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in live events, broadcast production, or hybrid event platforms.

• Strong knowledge of RTMP, SRT, and HLS streaming protocols.

• Hands-on experience with OBS, vMix, Wirecast, Restream, or similar streaming software.

• Experience managing hybrid event and virtual engagement platforms.

• Knowledge of IP networking, VLANs, bandwidth management, and NDI workflows.

• Experience operating video switchers, including ATEM or equivalent systems.

• Strong understanding of audio troubleshooting, synchronization, and multi-camera production.

• Ability to manage multiple streaming platforms simultaneously.

• Strong troubleshooting skills under live-event pressure.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and live-event schedules.

Employment Details

Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 11,000–12,000 per month
Contract: Until 31 December 2026, with possible extension.
